BPAS Partner Conference- Key Takeaways from Maryann Geary

Here are some of the main takeaways from Maryann Geary’s talk this morning at the BPAS Partner Conference.

1. Automating an DC plan can result in substantial rewards for both the plan participants and the organization as a whole

2. We are always battling inertia!  Remember a body in motion stays in motion while a body at rest stays at rest so we need to continually reinvent ways to keep participant engaged when it comes to their DC plan benefits

3. DC plans – just like your car – may need an annual inspection to ensure that a plan failure has not occurred.  However, if the plan does experience a failure, we can help get that corrected in a manner that will preserve the qualified status of the plan
