From the BPAS Houston Team

The Houston office of BPAS went into disaster recovery mode at noon on Friday, August 25th as Hurricane Harvey approached the Gulf Coast of Texas. Our offices were closed at that time and remained closed through September 1. Our employees, however, were able to conduct full business offsite throughout the week.

Each of us was fortunate enough to have been spared major damage from the nation’s worst natural disaster to date. Though none of our employees were greatly impacted personally, we are all affected by Harvey in one way or another – property damages and losses of family, friends, and historic landmarks throughout the Greater Houston Area.

We have received an enormous number of emails and calls from clients, co-workers, and business partners. The tremendous outpouring of support has been greatly appreciated.

Here in Houston, we will continue to help our immediate families, neighbors, fellow church members, community organizations, and nearby rescue operations. It is an ongoing effort and many of us plan to volunteer in the near future for those areas still impassable and in need of help.

If you’d like to help, we encourage you to visit www.jjwfoundation.org and make a donation. 100% of all funds will go directly to relief for all areas of the Texas Gulf Coast.

We are also sending thoughts to our team in Puerto Rico as they brace for Hurricane Irma.
