BPAS Partner Conference 2016 Slide PresentationsThe “City of Brotherly Love” became the “City of Fiduciary Partner Education” when the 3rd Annual BPAS Partner Conference came to Philadelphia from June 6th – 8th. More than 200 representatives from our partner organizations gathered for an incredible three-day program of guest speakers, panel discussions, and in-depth education. Everyone walked away with a deeper understanding of the current state of the retirement investment market and a new sense of purpose on how to meet the needs of their clients well into the future.

The conference was chock-full of great content, so we couldn’t mention everything that happened. But there were a few highlights that we had to share:

Barry Kublin was omnipresent throughout the conference. Each day he was taking questions from attendees, asking insightful questions of guest speakers and generally being the man with the answers at every turn. Also, his cigar party on the deck of a four-master ship turned restaurant was an event for the ages.

Guest Speaker Ralph Acampora shared his more than 40 years of experience in the industry as a technical analyst. Ralph provided a scintillating talk on the “secular bull market” and the long-range nature of the investment markets. He provided a rare perspective of the financial market that had everyone in attendance eager to hear more.

Maryann Geary added a fresh spin with her unique take on “Family Feud.” Not only were the top five answers on the board, the presentation came complete with amazing visuals, sound effects, and excitement to go around.

A special thanks to the industry experts who came out to speak and share their expertise: Tom Kmak, Bradford Campbell, Steve Saxon, Erik Karpinski, and Mark Singer.

Of course, the week wouldn’t have been quite as amazing if it weren’t for our gold, silver and bronze sponsors. Our attendees got to enjoy top-flight meals throughout the conference, brought home some amazing swag, and a few lucky winners took home some great prizes, including an Apple Watch.

If you attended this year’s conference and would like a copy of the slide decks from each talk; or if you want to get a glimpse of what you missed, we now have all the slide decks available for download. We hope you find them illuminating. We can’t wait to see everyone at next year’s conference.
