Nicole is an Actuary and Senior Consultant in Harbridge Consulting Group, LLC’s Healthcare and Defined Benefit Retirement practice.  She began her career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in the spring of 2000 and subsequently joined Harbridge.  During her years with Harbridge, Nicole’s consulting experience has included:

  • Processing and review of actuarial valuations under ERISA,
  • Preparation of ASC 715 pension expense and year-end disclosure reports,
  • Preparation of actuarial valuations of postretirement healthcare benefits under ASC 715  and GASB 45, including analysis of retiree claim data and development of claim,
  • Calculation and review of individual participant’s benefits,
  • Design and implementation of computer programs to determine individual plan benefits,
  • Design and financial analysis of retirement plans, including the requirements for cash funding and financial statements plan design analysis,
  • Consulting with employers in the development of retiree health plan designs including actuarial cost projections for alternative plan designs, and
  • Plan curtailments, settlements and terminations.

Nicole has worked with numerous large and small clients throughout her tenure with the firm.

Nicole graduated cum laude from The University of Rochester in Rochester, New York with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics and Biology in 2000.  She is an Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and is an Enrolled Actuary licensed to perform actuarial services under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA)
