Monica is an Actuary and Senior Consultant in the healthcare practice at Harbridge Consulting Group, LLC. Prior to joining Harbridge, Monica worked for a major health insurance carrier. Monica has held various positions in the healthcare field. Her experiences include:

• Health benefit plan pricing, including development of active and retiree-specific rates for budgeting, employee contribution modeling and COBRA administration
• Consulting with employers in the development of active and retiree health plan designs including actuarial cost projections for alternative plan designs and funding arrangements
• Vendor review and selection for Medical, Wellness and Prescription Drug plans
• Actuarial Attestations for retiree prescription drug plans
• Actuarial valuation of healthcare claims reserves for self-insured plans
• Actuarial valuations of postretirement medical and other welfare benefit plans under ASC 715 and GASB #45
• Audits of claims payors' performance and contractual compliance

Monica graduated with Highest Honor from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
