Brian is an Actuary and Senior Consultant in Harbridge Consulting Group, L.L.C.’s healthcare and retirement practice. He began his career with a national consulting firm in the spring of 2000 and subsequently joined Harbridge in 2004. Brian offers his experience in helping clients develop and administer their retirement and healthcare programs. His experience includes:
- processing and review of actuarial valuations,
- preparation of ASC 715 pension expense and year-end disclosure reports,
- preparation of ASC 715 postretirement healthcare benefit expense and year-end disclosure reports,
- preparation of GASB 45 health care benefit annual required contributions and notes to financial statements,
- calculation and review of individual participant’s benefits,
- financial analysis of plan improvements,
- plan design analysis,
- plan curtailments, settlements and terminations
- consulting with employers in the development of retiree health plan designs including actuarial cost projections for alternative plan designs.
Brian has worked with numerous large and small clients throughout his tenure with the firm.
Brian graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and minor concentrations in Mathematics and Insurance. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary licensed to perform actuarial services under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). |
